The definition of image

Public Figure
An image is the (un)conscious opinion the public has of a person, organization, or company. A positive image of a person or company creates affection and goodwill among the public or a specific target group because of a consistent positive behavior. This positive behavior causes the public to bond with the public figure which inspires the necessary support for leadership.
Image and Character
The Image and character of a person or often seen as one, which very often may not be the case. The public does not easily forget the troubled past of a public figure.
A positive image transformation can convince the public that they see a changed person before them in the present.
Personal or business environment
Not only public figures benefit from a positive image, but also individuals who experience difficulty connecting with others in their environment in their daily lives. For example, as a single it seems hard for you to connect with your crush. Maybe you are insecure because of a physical defect. What you may or may not think of yourself will unconsciously lead to what others might or might not think of you. Believe it or not, the first thing people subconsciously see is that what you dominantly show them from within.
The various factors that determine your image
- Your appearance: clothing and physical care.
- Your personal expression; (electronic) communication and body language. There is always a difference in interpretation between mail and personal communication.
- Etiquette: how do people act or react in certain situations?
- Your character: this is your natural inner structure. recognize it, own it and then live it.
These factors collectively determine your outlook and behavior and when consistent enough... your image is born.
